Cindy just so happens to be the sister of Jerry (his wedding/engagement). We were able to get this maternity session done with only a few weeks to spare for as of this moment, Cindy has already had baby Hunter (7 lb. 10 oz! Congrats!)
These pictures were all taken at Chris and Cindy’s property in Magnolia, Texas. Three words, what a view! To think they get to enjoy gorgeous sunsets like this everyday!
I especially liked how little Mia knew where I was the whole time and always had a pose ready for me as soon I brought the camera out, I did grab a few candids however. Chris and Cindy were most hospitable as well. Case in point: after a few beers, delicious cheesecake (yes, beer+cheesecake), and gifts in the form of some good ol’ pan sausage and hamburger patties, I was on my way.

This wedding is a long time coming. This all started about a year ago when I shot Jerry and Eli’s daughter Ana at the park. A few months later, the two love birds told me they were engaged and needed some engagement portraits done. This session was to be followed with what you see below, a wedding!
This definitely was a “high pressure” wedding, for me at least. You see, not even 12 hours had passed and I was in a different country (Puerto Rico) shooting a corporate event (pictures to come). I had informed Eli of this and had gone as far to schedule a backup photographer *just in case* I missed my flight. Coincidentally, I missed my flight while en route to PR the first time and had to wait 13 hours to catch the next one. Luckily, I got out of there without an issue.
Anyways, here are a few of my favorites. Lots of kissing ahead, enjoy!

Lucia needed a photographer ASAP. Luckily she has a couple of caring friends that knew just the person to get the job done
. I wasn’t kidding about the “ASAP” part either. Lucia asked for a photographer on Friday, and after a brief conversation we had something scheduled for the very next day. Here’s just a sampling of what I got. Enjoy!

First off, I’m pretty jealous of Samantha’s mom. Why you ask? I wish my mom had found a photographer in Houston this cool for my senior portraits, thats why! Anywho, we set a date and kept to it (no reschedule here). Thankfully the rain never came despite the clouds giving us an awkward looks from time to time. Enough of the chit-chat though, on with the pics!
